New artist at Wild Thyme – From Sunday, 11 June for two weeks local artist Pauline Nolan will be exhibiting pieces from her collection at Wild Thyme Restaurant with Rooms. Pauline works primarily in acrylic paint and ink, experimenting with vivid colour combinations to create random background effects. Bloodwise Blenheim Palace Triathlon – 3 – 4 June – this hugely popular sporting event welcomes thousands of competitors and spectators every year to the stunning surroundings of Blenheim Palace. Starting with a swim in the Great Lake, the competitors then enter the ‘transition’ area in the Great Court where they collect their bikes for the cycling section around the Park. The bikes are then returned to the Great Court and their run begins around the Queen Pool with the finish on the road leading away from the Palace.
