Wild Thyme Restaurant with Rooms serves modern British food with Mediterranean influences. Sourcing regional food with care and integrity, we know all our suppliers personally and take great pride in producing interesting seasonal dishes using the finest ingredients. Everything is homemade from scratch by Nick and his team, meaning we can cater with confidence for all diets, food intolerances and allergies. Service is warm and friendly in a relaxed, intimate atmosphere for just 35 diners. It is possible to hire the whole restaurant for exclusive use, or The Garden Room, which seats up to 14 people, for a smaller celebration. Many original features have been retained within the Grade Two listed building; Cotswold stone walls and a wonderful window seat blend perfectly with more contemporary elements to create a stylish decor.
Little People – Wild Thyme is generally an adult environment, particularly in the evenings, and whilst we are happy to welcome children (we have four of our own) you, and they, need to be comfortable in a slightly more formal setting. We do not offer a separate children’s menu but are happy to offer smaller portions and simplify existing dishes.
Celebrations and Corkage – We are in the business of producing and serving great food and wines and therefore we ask that you respect this and understand that we don’t allow guests to bring their own food or drink into the restaurant.
If you would like a cake, or decorated sharing dessert, we are happy to provide one for you, (with some notice) or we will decorate your individual dessert plate with a chocolate message at no cost.
If there is a particular wine, or drink, that you would like, (that isn’t on our list), please let us know as with a little notice we can get most things.
